Finley Fort Foundation Releases 2025 Annual Impact Report
HONOLULU, HI — January 2026 – The Finley Fort Foundation proudly announces the release of its 2025 Annual Impact Report, reflecting a year defined by compassion, growth, and unwavering community support. Through emergency veterinary assistance, memorial support, and expanded initiatives, the foundation continued its mission to ensure pets and families across Hawaiʻi receive care, dignity, and hope during their most difficult moments.
“This year reaffirmed why the Finley Fort Foundation exists,” said Brandon Kamigaki, Executive Director of the Finley Fort Foundation. “The generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers allowed us to step in when families needed help most offering not just financial assistance, but reassurance that they were not alone.”

64 emergency assistance applications received
45 pets and families supported
4 memorial support grants awarded
$23,145 raised
$26,638.58 paid directly toward veterinary bills and memorial care

Key Highlights from 2025:
Betty’s Memorial Fund: Introduced this year, the fund honors the legacy of beloved companions by providing families with memorial support during times of loss, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to dignity, remembrance, and healing.
Emergency Veterinary Assistance: Continued expansion of rapid-response support for families facing urgent and unexpected veterinary crises.
Growing Community Engagement: Strengthened partnerships and donor support enabled the foundation to meet rising demand and extend its reach.
As the foundation looks ahead, 2026 will mark an exciting next chapter. Plans are underway to revamp the Finley Fort Ambassador Program to better align with the organization’s expanding work, and to introduce a new area of support focused on homeless dogs and cats, created in loving honor of Franklin and Jim.
